About the series
Join us for five sessions of Finding Your Story. Beginning mid-October, each Friday during October & November we will gather for conversation and community with other women who love writing. Whether you just like to journal or have dreams of writing a book, this is a great way to connect, create and commit to your writing practice.
Each week we will begin with 15 min coffee and social time before starting our writing program led by author Kathy Izard (and maybe even some surprise guest authors!) Certified Life Coach Meg Robertson will co-lead some sessions as we discuss what holds us back from believing in ourselves and our writing (anyone have an inner critic? Imposter syndrome?). There will be time to write, time to create and time to share with each other. You are welcome to bring your journal and pen, your sketchbook or your laptop. These workshops will be held in Meg’s office studio which has a long table for writing as well as comfy couch and chairs. Each week, we will provide coffee, tea and snacks along with inspiration for your story.
Maybe you don’t need courage to write a book but just to re-write your life—these sessions are for you too! Trying something new like writing can help you be brave in other parts of your life. Join us for one session or all five!
