Retreat Details
Join author Kathy Izard in Santa Fe-- one of America’s most historic and artistic cities unlike any other in the world. If you read her book The Last Ordinary Hour, you know this city holds a special place in heart as both a spiritual and creative destination.
We will be spending four days and three nights immersing ourselves in the culture and beauty of Santa Fe. From the Georgia O’Keefe museum to modern day artists in more than 250 galleries, you'll be astonished by the city's array of art. In the mornings, we will gather in our own writer’s salon at the hotel to try on some creative activities. In the afternoon, we will be inspired by all Santa Fe has to offer as well as free time for your own exploration and shopping. Santa Fe also has an incredible food scene so our lunches and dinners will be culinary adventures as well.
You might even decide to come early or stay a few days longer if you want to explore the area in day trips to places like the famous El Santuario de Chimayo which attracts over 300,000 pilgrims from all over the world for its “holy dirt” known for its healing properties.

Who should attend? Our retreats are designed for women who are looking to make some changes and live life with a little more intention. Typically, our retreats attract women 40-65 but we have had great guests as young as 30 and sage friends who are 75! We love intergenerational groups because we all learn from each other’s experiences. You don’t need to sign up with a friend and most of our women don’t know anyone before they arrive—yet leave with new friends. If you are looking to ask some deep questions in good company, these retreats are for you!

The Albuquerque International Sunport Airport is approximately 50 minutes from La Posada de Santa Fe resort. Santa Fe Municipal Airport has limited commercial service and is located about 20 minutes away.
